Metallurgical industries"chamber was established in 1958 by decree no.(453).
It is a non- profit & non- governmental organization & it is financing by member fees, which is calculated according to the company's capital.
The activities of the chamber cover all the metallurgical sector allover the country.
It includes 367 industrial institutions(companies).

Helping the members in co-ordinating with different government organizations in solving problems arising during implementing the laws
Studying the problems and obstacles that facing the members and provide suggestin solutions
Organizing seminars, conferences & exhibitions in co-operation with investors & different Egyptian associations
Setting special meetings fr the chambers' members with the governmental officials on a need- basis & solving the problems with the government(taxes,customs,environment aspects, supervisory bodies)
Modernizing & developing Egyptian specification standards, in order to match with the international standards
